Gathering Midwest is a non-denominational meeting where people can experience God’s presence through live music, life-applicable Biblical messages, and the friendship of others. We are people from all walks of life - we are real people! Our atmosphere is Christ-centered, casual, fun, and family-friendly. Whether you have known Christ your whole life, have yet to meet him, or somewhere in between, there is a place for you here!

WE VALUE PEOPLE: God made us in His image so as to have relationship with Himself. By valuing people we are aligning ourselves with God’s heart. 

WE VALUE OUR DIFFERENCES: Though we are born male or female, each of us has a different history, culture, background, Biblical traditions, and a unique way of looking at life. Each person has different gifts, talents, and skills. All of these, under one roof, help to make up a church family. 

WE VALUE FAMILY: Family is God’s design and His plan. It is place to learn about God, love, trust, safety, and all the skills that help us grow into fully functioning adults. Sadly, families can be, and often are, dysfunctional. Since no family is perfect, we know that we are supposed to provide resources to help families grow more and more into God’s design. 

WE VALUE PERSONAL GROWTH: Not one us are actually done growing until we die. If we are not growing and working on some area in our life that God has revealed, then we are going backwards. Spiritual maturity and emotional maturity are equals together. For us to become mature and lacking nothing we all must continue to grow. This means looking inward and applying truth to our lives. 

WE VALUE SPIRITUAL MATURITY: Learning God’s word, worshipping, knowing his voice, receiving from the Holy Spirit, and applying these events to our lives grows us in spiritual understandings. A life transformed by the Spirit of the living God is a life worth living. 

WE VALUE EMOTIONAL WHOLENESS: The gospel is supposed to go the core of who we are and transform us. This means letting Jesus into the hurts and wounds that we carry before our salvation. By letting him heal and grow us we become emotionally whole. This journey is carried out in many different forms. 

WE VALUE MUSIC: To know God it to worship him. He has called us to worship, and worship entails music. Most often it is coming together on Sunday morning. But God gave us music and music is the time capsule of life. We can see his handy work and he can touch people with many different styles and genres. 

WE VALUE OUR LOCAL CULTURE: Wisconsin has a unique culture, and sitting down to have a drink or two with friends is a typical occurrence. While there are those who believe that drinking alcohol is sinful, we believe it is a matter of choice and conscience. We believe that we can meet people right where they are, just like Jesus did, without judgment or condemnation.   

WE VALUE UNITY: When people share unity or commonality, it gives strength to the whole group. We can still be different yet maintain unity among us.
